Chairman of the Board
Eng. Ali bin Ahmed Barshid
Eng. Ali Barshid holds a Bachelor's degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and has held several key leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Tadawul Al-Alamiya Company. He chairs the boards of multiple companies he owns both inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Founding Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ahmed Saleh
Mr. Ahmed Saleh holds various degrees including an Executive MBA and specialized certifications in finance.
Since Global Mining & Investment entered the market, we have been delivering our products and services to clients who have shown their loyalty, by the grace of Allah and through the distinguished services we provide. This has significantly contributed to building the outstanding reputation the company enjoys and has positioned us competitively in delivering the best services and finest products.
With a hand-picked team of engineers and skilled professionals in mining operations, mineral extraction, and importing related products that contribute to gold purification and extraction, as well as equipment and reagent supply — and by the grace of Allah followed by the trust of our clients — we have become pioneers of mining in Egypt and the Middle East.
Mr. Ahmed leads the company's strategic direction in the gold exploration sector, overseeing compliance with environmental standards and legal regulations governing mining, and ensuring the efficiency of supply chains and logistics associated with precious mineral recovery. He also drives the development of investment partnerships that support operational sustainability and ensure continued leadership in applying the latest global technologies in gold extraction and refining effectively and responsibly.
General Manager
Dr. Mahmoud Fahmy
PhD in Geochemistry of Igneous Rocks — Granite Rocks
Dr. Mahmoud joined Global Mining in November 2019 and has made a clear imprint in achieving the company's goals and strategy, thanks to his extensive expertise in the mining field. He earned a Master's degree in Geological Sciences (Igneous Rocks — Pegmatite Rocks) in 2007, and a PhD in Geological Sciences (Geochemistry of Igneous Rocks — Granite Rocks) in 2017.
He also brings prior experience from major corporations, having served as Head of Ore Processing and Quartz Mines at the Egyptian Iron Alloys Company. He has participated in and attended numerous international conferences in mining and gold and mineral exploration, and is a board member of the Iron and Steel Company for Mines and Quarries.
Dr. Mahmoud leverages his specialized academic background in igneous rock geochemistry to lead and guide advanced gold exploration programs, overseeing the analysis of geological formations and identifying promising areas for prospecting based on scientific foundations and precise laboratory results. In his capacity as General Manager, he manages the integration between geological studies and mining operations, with a focus on improving ore processing methods and ensuring efficient precious mineral recovery, aligning technical operations with the company's economic vision and production objectives.
Vice President of Public Relations
Major General / Alaa Khalil
Major General Alaa has made significant contributions to the development and achievement of the company's goals and strategy through an extensive network of public relations, backed by a distinguished and honorable career as a former police officer in key security sectors at the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. He also chairs the boards of multiple companies, all of which has directly contributed to the growth and realization of Global Mining & Investment's objectives.

Quality Assurance Director
Eng. Edward Andaluk
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Eng. Edward brings extensive professional experience spanning 16 years as a safety practitioner in mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, and construction industries in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from a prestigious university in the Philippines, and is well-versed in all aspects of health, safety, environment, and security, with comprehensive knowledge of process safety management and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OSHA 18001), as well as being a certified NEBOSH IGC holder.
Eng. Edward boasts a distinguished record of professional achievements, having served as a safety engineer on major projects for Kuwait Oil Company, and as an HSE supervisor at leading companies in Jubail Industrial City such as Ibn Sina, SABIC (Sadaf), and Petrochemia. His pioneering efforts in supervision and oversight culminated in the award of 10 million safe work hours without Lost Time Incidents (LTI), along with receiving the "Ideal Safety Supervisor of the Month" award.
With his specialized expertise in environmental management and safety inspection, he possesses high-level technical skills in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), incident investigation, and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP). This accumulated experience contributes to elevating quality and safety standards in alignment with the company's strategies and objectives, making him a valuable addition in ensuring a safe and professional work environment according to the highest standards.
Director of Production and Project Management
Eng. Murtada Saleh
Geologist
Mr. Murtada holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Aswan University. He joined Global Mining & Investment at the beginning of 2020, and thanks to his extensive expertise as a professional geologist, he has actively contributed to the growth and increase of the company's production from various mining ores, especially gold.
Eng. Murtada previously served as Director of Research and Development at major specialized companies working in the field of gold and mineral exploration.
Eng. Murtada is responsible for the full supervision of exploration and extraction project management. He plans and executes field operations for gold recovery in accordance with the latest technical and engineering standards. Leveraging his project management skills, he ensures the highest productivity rates through precise coordination between technical and logistics teams, while adhering to timelines and strategic targets that maximize the utilization of available mineral resources.
Sales Director
Mr. Bashir Amer
Mr. Bashir Amer joined Global Mining & Investment team in November 2019 with the founding of the company, and is considered one of the key competencies that contributed to building the sales sector. He possesses a rich career path with expertise gained from working in major mining companies, as well as extensive experience in dealing with government institutions and private companies, which has given him a comprehensive vision of business and investment sector requirements.
Mr. Bashir is responsible for managing sales operations and expanding the customer base, leveraging his extensive expertise in opening new markets and developing the group's commercial relations. With his precise knowledge of market mechanisms, he oversees providing commercial solutions that meet client needs, focusing on enhancing the competitive value of the company's products in the mining sector and contributing to increasing its market share locally and regionally.
Mr. Bashir effectively contributes to achieving the company's vision towards leadership by formulating effective sales strategies that ensure sustainable growth. As an expert in his field, he works on coordinating between production objectives and market aspirations, ensuring the highest levels of service for success partners. His accumulated expertise in negotiation and managing major deals represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the path of excellence adopted by Global Mining & Investment in all its operations.
Financial and Administrative Director
Mr. Majid Abdulrahman
Mr. Majid Abdulrahman has a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in the financial management, contracting, and mining sectors. He joined Global Mining & Investment since the company's founding in November 2019, having held senior leadership positions at major companies both within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Menoufia University with a very good rating in 1991, and honed his expertise through working in multiple international environments in Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Majid has been instrumental in building financial strategies and developing control systems and project costing. He led the qualitative transformation of financial management to become a strategic partner to senior management. He has a proven track record in managing cash flows for major projects, analyzing contractual risks, and pricing government tenders with high efficiency, helping the companies he worked for maximize profitability and achieve financial sustainability.
Drawing on his accumulated experience at Al-Hajri Offshore Company and Ittihad Al-Kafaat Company, Mr. Majid oversees all financial operations, from preparing budgets and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial statements, to feasibility studies for new projects. He represents a fundamental pillar in supporting investment and expansion decision-making, ensuring the achievement of the company's long-term strategic objectives.
Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor
Mr. Jasim Al Mubarak
Mr. Jasim holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Business Administration. He has worked at major companies in the contracting and mining sectors within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and plays an active role in risk assessment and monitoring compliance with the company's governance procedures manual.
Drawing on his expertise in bridging management and field operations, Mr. Jasim contributes to promoting occupational safety culture among all employees through close supervision of training and awareness programs and ensuring daily operations comply with national systems and regulations. His contributions are essential to achieving operational stability and improving overall performance efficiency by reducing waste and ensuring smooth workflow in accordance with standard specifications.
